"Open" Call
Florists, landscapers, students of floral schools, floral designers, floral clubs of Guatemala.
The Flower Committee, in its 9th edition, invites all artists in the fields of floral art, landscaping, botany, and architecture to find a space for expression through flowers and art at the Antigua Guatemala Flower Festival. Year after year, we have had the opportunity to discover and showcase the great talent of renowned artists worldwide.
Free Bases
→ Designs should be creative, featuring a variety of flowers to suit the participant's taste. However, you must include elements that represent the 2025 theme: Ancient City of the Arts, where stars bloom, inspired by groundbreaking artists (e.g., Cruz España, Roberto Goyri, Fernando Botero, Frida Kahlo, Luis de Lion, Van Gogh, among others). Don't forget to always include flowers in your decorations. Imagination knows no bounds.
→Flower Festival allocates street spaces for your decorations. Registration deadline: November 9, 2025.
→It is important that when we send you the assigned space, on the day of the event you respect the assigned place, otherwise you will automatically be eliminated and removed from the contest.
→Once registered, you will be asked for a drawing or sample of what your street decoration will look like in order to assign you the correct space.
→The use of artificial plant material or paper, in its real form integrated into the design, is not permitted.
→You must limit yourself to the 3x3 space (on the right side of the street to allow passage of ambulances in case of emergency).
→The use of sidewalks or obstruction of streets will not be permitted.
→The display of loudspeakers, banners, marimbas, musical groups, etc., on sidewalks or streets is not permitted.
→ Emphasis is placed on the use of fresh plant material.
→Dry treated material is permitted. from the display stand.
→The use of fruits, vegetables and other components is permitted according to taste.
→Participants must be of legal age.
→The decorations must be ready by 7:00 am on Saturday the 15th for the official photo. The judges will visit the entries throughout the day; there is no set schedule for judge visits.
→No refunds.
→Voting is not done through Social Networks.
→Each participant is responsible for dismantling and maintaining their own equipment. You must assemble and dismantle it each day (Saturday and Sunday).
Failure to comply with these regulations will result in automatic disqualification from the competition.
